Pennies for Patients - Spirit of Giving Week!

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Here is some information about the program:
“Pennies for Patients is a service learning, character education and philanthropy program that gives students a unique experience making a difference through teamwork—working together to aid thousands of children and adults in the fight blood cancers like leukemia, the most common childhood cancer.”
We will be collecting different coins on different days.
Students who participate by bringing in their loose change will get to dress based on the theme of that day!
**Although we will be featuring different coins on different days, we will accept any amount of money on any day!

12/14 QUARTERS QUIRKY QUARTERS
Find your most WACKY TACKY outfit to wear to school
12/15 DOLLARS DRESS DOWN FOR DOLLARS
Wear your pajamas. Remember to bring sneakers for recess and/or gym class!
**Your money will be collected in a classroom box each morning.
How much can we raise in a week for this worthy cause? **
**Remember to follow dress down guidelines when picking out your outfits!
a) Undergarments must not be exposed.
b) Hair, face, body paint, and tattoo are inappropriate for school and not permitted.
c) No flip flops.
d) Cosmetics or make-up should be age and school appropriate.
e) Clothing with rips, tears, holes or frayed edges is considered inappropriate for school.
f) Extreme hairstyles are not permitted (examples: Mohawk haircuts; designs, words, or names cut into the hair; hair coloring other than standard frosting or natural highlighting) and should not attract undue attention.
g) Clothing that is revealing, such as short mini-skirts, short-shorts, tank tops, loosely fitting, low-cut blouses or halter tops, mesh shirts, or shirts exposing the midriff are not to be worn. Sleeveless shirts are not allowed. Shirts must be worn buttoned up to second from top. No strapless dresses allowed.
h) Leggings cannot be worn as pants.
