Hispanic Heritage Night
Hispanic Heritage Night was such a success thanks to our amazing families, staff, and outside organizations involved. Our night consisted of several performances from our students singing traditional Hispanic songs, dancing in traditional Mexican wear, and playing instruments with our music teacher. We had guests from the Tallahassee Hispanic Theatre give our students a puppet show, and saw a merengue performance from Studio B Dance Company. Once the performances of the night were over, attendees got to “travel” to different Hispanic countries and try cuisines brought in by TSMS families! Each guest was given a passport to stamp off every country they traveled to. This annual celebration is very near and dear to TSMS, because of the importance of exposing all of our students and community to the beauty of different cultures. We can’t wait for spring to host our annual International Night!
